Happy to hear your thoughts but I disagree, especially since several of the issues you mention are covered in the data. As far as states with more guns or more permissive gun laws having "lowest homicide rates" most studies state the data is inconclusive one way or another with many studies offering counter evidence.

And there's a reason I didn't break it down by race. We're all Americans. What's a problem for my neighbor is a problem for me.

As for my "solution," I never specifically offered one, simply a comparison for readers to draw their own conclusions. The fact you assumed I did only emphasizes the fact there's a toxic culture around guns here where rational discussion can't be had. That's the real problem.
