This part is inevitable. Reading this piece I kept thinking that’s why I’m so heavily invested in crypto and DAO and other blockchain initiatives. They’re already designed ground up to do the things you want Medium to adopt. And Medium would need to do them in a web 2 0 and economy 2.0 structure. Best to encourage those who have already seen the direction everything is headed. Medium is trying to hybridize the old architecture with the new and that’s doomed to fail IMO.
